The Story of the Recipe
Ingredients for the Recipe for Fellah Meatballs (Amazingly Delicious, Never Disintegrates)
- 2 cups of bulgur for meatballs
- 2 glasses of hot water (for soaking)
- 1 glass of semolina
- 3 heaped tablespoons of flour< li itemprop="ingredients">1 tablespoon of chili paste (I used sweet paste)
- 1 tablespoon of tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon of cumin
- 12 glasses of water
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 glass of olive oil
- 5-6 cloves of garlic
- 4 grated tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons of chili paste, I used sweet
- 1 teaspoon of thyme
- 1 teaspoon of mint
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Finely Chopped Parsley
Fellah Meatballs (Amazing Tasty Never Disintegrates) Recipe Preparation
- For meatballs, bulgur is taken into a mixing bowl and boiled water is added. Let it stand for 15 minutes.
- Then the remaining ingredients are added, kneaded and made into a paste.
- Small meatballs are made by tearing off chickpea-sized pieces from the dough obtained and slightly moistening our hands.
- These meatballs are pressed into a button shape with your pinky finger and placed on a floured tray.
- For the sauce, oil is heated in a pan and the crushed garlic is lightly roasted.
- Pepper paste and tomato grated mash is added and the tomatoes are brought to a sauce consistency until they are cooked. Salt and spices are added.
- The meatballs are thrown into the boiling water little by little, boiled for 5 minutes and taken to the serving plate with a colander.
- The cooked sauce is spread on the meatballs and finally decorated with finely chopped parsley. Bon appetit.
