
Ingredients for Green Lentil Meatballs (Very Light) Recipe
- 1 cup green lentils
- 2 cups of fine bulgur
- 1 medium onion
- 1 tablespoon of chili paste
- 1 tablespoon of tomato paste
- Dill (Optional)
- Parsley (Optional)
- Black pepper
- Cumin
- Cayenne pepper
- Salt
- Lemon
- Half a tea glass of olive oil (I used olive oil for its health. You can also use sunflower oil according to your preference. )
How to Make Green Lentil Meatballs (Very Light) Recipe
- Until you cover the green lentils Let’s put some hot water. Let it boil.
- After the green lentils are boiled, turn off the stove. Let’s add the fine bulgur and mix it a few times and wait for the bulgur to swell. (10 minutes will be enough. )
- Let’s put half a tea glass of olive oil and chopped onions in another pan at the same time.
- After frying the onions, let’s add our tomato paste to the pan.
- Just after adding the tomato paste, add spices to your liking and fry it.
- Knead the green lentils and tomato paste mixture thoroughly.
