Hamburger bread

Ingredients for the Burger Bread Recipe

  • 2 glasses of warm milk
  • 1 packet of fresh yeast ( 42 gr)
  • 3 tablespoons of sugar
  • Yogurt with two fingers missing from 1 glass of water
  • 1 glass of oil
  • 2 egg whites
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • 8 water glass of flour (brand of Hekimoğlu)
  • Water and sesame

Making Hamburger Bread Recipe

  1. To make your bread; I poured the milk, yeast, sugar, oil, yogurt and egg white into the dough machine. You can knead by hand, of course, since I have a machine, I used it.
  2. I added the flour slowly. Get a soft, non-sticky dough and leave it to ferment.
  3. Then divide this dough into 24 meringues, the size of a tangerine. Let it sit, remove it and sprinkle with sesame seeds on it.
  4. Turn the oven to 200 degrees upside down and let it cook.
  5. When it turns slightly pink, take it out of the oven and cover it with a damp cloth so that the top is hard when it comes out of the oven. Don’t be afraid, it will soften when a damp cloth covers it.
  6. For the filling of your patties; Ground beef, salt and pepper are thoroughly mixed, a transparent bag is placed on the lid of the jar, a piece of tangerine size is placed inside the lid, spread, flattened and removed. It is cooked in a lightly oiled pan. I served it with frozen potatoes and sausage in breadcrumbs.
    It turned out really well that I couldn’t photograph it exactly as I wanted. As it is known, when it was time for iftar, we did not see anything.
