  • 1 kg of brown bulgur for meatballs
  • 4 cups boiling water

  • 3 medium sized tomatoes
  • 3 grated onion

Spicy Meatless Raw Meatballs Recipe Preparation

  1.  Put the bulgur in a raw meatball tray (also a regular tray) and add hot water and cover it.
  2.  When the bulgur swells, add other ingredients. Pepper paste, tomato paste, isot, chili pepper, black pepper, garlic, onion, tomato, salt, pomegranate syrup, liquid We add oil and knead well.
  3.  I kneaded for 45 minutes – 1 hour until it came to a thick consistency. But if you have a dough machine at home, you can save time.
  4. If you wish, you can add other spices while kneading.
  5.  Lastly, let’s add green onions and finish the kneading process. The last reason we added green onions is to keep it fresh.
  6.  You can rest it in the fridge for 15-20, shape it and serve it with lettuce, lemon and pomegranate syrup.
