  • 1 cup of red lentils
  • 1.5 cups finely ground bulgur
  • 3 glasses of water
  • 1 onion
  • Parsley
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste

  1. First, let’s wash the lentils and put them in a suitable pot, add 3 glasses of water and let them swell. Let’s boil it until it gets soft.
  2. When the water is absorbed, turn off the stove and put bulgur in it. Let’s wait for 30 minutes with the lid of the pot closed.
  3. At that time, let’s fry the finely chopped onion in oil in a pan until it turns slightly pink, add tomato paste, fry for 1-2 more minutes and remove from the stove.
  4. Let’s add the fried onion with tomato paste to the lentils that have been resting for an hour and knead well.
  5. Let’s add salt and spices to the meatballs that are well mixed and knead again.
  6. Lastly, let’s add the finely chopped parsley and let the ingredients mix well.< /li>
  7. Shape the meatballs and arrange them on lettuce leaves.
