Ingredients for Lentil Meatballs Recipe

  • 1 cup of red lentils
  • 1, 5 cups finely ground bulgur
  • 1 onion
  • 15 sprigs of parsley
  • 5 tablespoons of liquid oil
  • 2 sprigs of spring onions
  • 1 tablespoon of tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon of chili paste
  • 3.5 cups of water
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

How to Make Lentil Meatballs Recipe?

  1. Wash the lentils and put them in a suitable pot and add 3.5 cups of water. We boil it until it gets soft. It will remain slightly watery.
  2. Turn off the stove and add the bulgur into it. Let it sit for half an hour with the lid on. We take the tomato paste from the stove by frying it for an additional 2-3 minutes. When it comes to a temperature that will not burn the hand, we knead it well.
  3. We add salt and spices to the meatball mixture that is well mixed and knead again.
  4. Finally, we add finely chopped parsley and finely chopped green onions.
  5. We make sure that the ingredients mix well. You can use any shaped containers you want, or egg-sized pieces are cut off.
  6. The meatballs are shaped and placed on the lettuce. It is consumed with radish and lemon.
