Ingredients for Lentil Meatballs Recipe

  • 1 cup of red lentils
  • 1, 5 cups finely ground bulgur
  • 1 onion
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 1 bunch of dill< /li>
  • 3-4 tablespoons of oil
  • 1 bunch of spring onions
  • 2 tablespoons of tomato paste
  • 4-5 tablespoons of tomato sauce
  • 3 glasses of water (you can add a little more during kneading if needed)
  • Sufficient salt
  • Cumin
  • Chili pepper
  • Black pepper

How to Make Lentil Meatballs Recipe

  1. To make lentil patties, wash the lentils and put them in a suitable oven. Let’s take it in a pot and add 3 glasses of water to it. Let’s boil it until it softens.
  2. When the water is gone, let’s throw the bulgur into it and let it wait for half an hour with the lid of the pot closed.
  3. In a separate pan, fry the finely chopped onion in oil until it turns slightly pink, tomato paste is added to it.
  4. Let’s get some oil in the pan and fry the onion and add tomato paste and tomato sauce on it.
  5. Let’s add the fried onion with tomato paste to the lentils that have been resting for half an hour and bring them to a temperature that will not burn the hands. Let’s knead it well when it comes.
  6. The meatballs are mixed well, salt and spices are added and kneaded again.
  7. Finally, let’s add finely chopped parsley, finely chopped green onions and dill. < li>Cut off egg-sized pieces and shape the meatballs and arrange them on lettuce leaves. Enjoy your meal
