Ingredients for Bulgur Meatballs with Potatoes

  • 2.5 cups of fine bulgur
  • 3 pieces potato ( 350 -400 grams )
  • 1 onion

How to Make Potato Bulgur Meatballs Recipe?

  1. Peel the potatoes and make 4-5 pieces cut neatly. Put water on it and boil it in a medium saucepan.
  2. When the potatoes are soft, take them off the stove and drain the water so that there is about 1 tea glass of boiling water in it. Without wasting time, pour it into a deep bowl with a lid.
  3. Add 2,5 water glasses of bulgur immediately and mix. Close the lid without wasting time (this process should take a short time. The heat of the potato and boiling water will make the bulgur swell). Let the bulgur swell for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, put oil in the pan and add the finely chopped onion. After sautéing for a short time, turn off the stove. Mix olive oil in a small bowl and add paprika to it. Wash and chop the green onions and parsley.
  5. Open the lid of the bulgur with potatoes and add tomato paste, salt and spices. Knead until the ingredients are mixed. Add the oil-onion mixture in the pan and the olive oil red pepper flakes and knead again. Take it on a serving plate and serve with lettuce and lemon.
