Ingredients for Meatless Çiğköfte Recipe

  • You can increase or decrease 3 cups of bulgur wheat as desired

  • 1.5 tablespoons of pepper paste
  • 4 tablespoons of tomato paste
  • Half a tea glass of water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon of chili flakes
  • 2 teaspoons of raw meatball paste
  • 5 tablespoons of isot (to taste You can reduce or increase accordingly)
  • 1 tea in a glass oil
  • Half a bunch of parsley

How to Make Meatless Çiğköfte Recipe

  1. To the meatless meatball tray The bulgur is taken and kneaded by adding 4 tablespoons of tomato paste and 3 grated tomatoes.
  2. The onion and garlic are rinsed and added. It is kneaded for a few more minutes.
  3. Pepper paste is added and kneading is continued. At this stage, half a tea glass of water is poured in a controlled manner, kneaded and the bulgur is rested for about 10 minutes.
  4. After the bulgur is rested, salt, black pepper, chili pepper isot, cumin and raw meatballs are added.
  5. Finally, oil is added. Add parsley and knead for a few more minutes.
  6. Our Çigköfte is ready to serve. Note: I did not put pomegranate syrup in it, I used pomegranate syrup while eating it so that the raw meatballs would not fall apart. Good luck to those who will try. best regards
