Lentil Meatballs How to Make the Recipe?

  1. To make lentil patties, wash the lentils and put them in a steel pot, pour 3 water over them. Add boiling water.
  2. Boil until it becomes soft.
  3. When the water is absorbed, the bulgur is thrown into it and left for half an hour with the lid of the pot closed. (If there is too much water, it will be runny, let’s be careful that it absorbs the water).
  4. In a separate pan, fry the finely chopped onion in oil until it turns slightly pink, add tomato paste and fry a little more and take it off the stove.
  5. Spices are added.
  6. The lentils, which are rested for half an hour, are added to the fried onions with tomato paste and kneaded well when it reaches a temperature that will not burn the hand.
  7. Finally, finely chopped parsley is added.
  8. After the meatball mortar has cooled down a bit, the juice of 1 lemon is added (you can also add salt according to your taste).
