- 3 cups of brown bulgur with raw meatballs
- 1 medium size onion(juiced)
- 2 medium tomatoes
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 tea tablespoon of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 tablespoon of pepper paste
- 1 teaspoon tomato paste
- 1 tea glass of ground red pepper (sweet or hot according to your preference)
- 1 tea glass of olive oil
- 1 glass of water
- 1 tablespoon of pomegranate syrup
Meatless Çiğköfte Recipe Preparation
- Let all ingredients except bulgur, oil and water pass through the robot for 1-2 minutes.
- Then let’s put the bulgur in our tray .
- Let’s sprinkle half a glass of water on it and pour the mortar we passed through the robot on it.
- Let’s knead well for 30 minutes.
- Adjust to its consistency, add oil and water little by little and knead. Let’s continue.
- If desired, we can add a little more pomegranate syrup.
- When the bulgur softens, let’s put it in small pieces on the serving plate. Let it sit for 1-2 hours.
