Ingredients for Meatless Çiğköfte Recipe

  • 2 cups of fine bulgur for meatballs
  • 2 medium white onion
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 3 tablespoons of pomegranate syrup
  • 1 lemon ( juice )
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon pepper paste
  • 1 tablespoon ground pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 small tea glass of olive oil
  • 1 tea glass isot ( half a tea glass can be added depending on taste. )

How to Make Meatless Çiğköfte Recipe?

  1. Place 2 cups of fine bulgur with meatballs on the tray Let’s get it.
  2. 1. Let’s pour 5 glasses of warm water over our bulgur.
  3. Let’s put it on the stove so that our bulgur will absorb the water, and it will have drained in two minutes. (We can also wet it with hot water.)
  4. Let’s grind 2 onions and 3 cloves of garlic in the robot.
  5. Let’s pour it over the dried bulgur.
  6. 3 tablespoons of pomegranate syrup and add the juice of 1 lemon. (Those who don’t like sour can use half a lemon.)
  7. Let’s add 1 tablespoon of tomato paste, 1 tablespoon of pepper paste. (If you like to eat hot, you can use pepper paste instead of tomato paste.)
  8. Let’s add 1 tablespoon of ground pepper and 1 tea glass of isot. Let’s add 1 teaspoon of salt.
  9. Add 1 small tea glass of olive oil and start kneading.
  10. If you want it easy after kneading for five minutes, let’s grind our bulgur, which is identified with the ingredients, in the robot.
  11. Then let’s knead the bulgur in our hands for another 10 minutes.
  12. Let it rest for 5 minutes so that the bulgur can be identified with the ingredients.
