Ingredients for Meatless Raw Meatballs Recipe

  • 500 g brown bulgur for meatballs
  • 500 ml boiling water
  • 2 tablespoons of tomato paste
  • 2 onions
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1.5 tablespoons of isot
  • 70 grams of oil
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • 2 teaspoons of red chili powder
  • 1 or 2 teaspoons of hot ground pepper
  • 4-5 spoon of pomegranate syrup
  • Fresh parsley and mint upon request

Meatless Raw Meatballs Recipe Preparation

  1. < li>First, add bulgur into a large mixing bowl and pour boiling water on it, close the lid and let it sit for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Tip Choosing bulgur is very important and i Make sure it is fine-grained brown bulgur with raw meatballs.
  3. Add the isot and oil into a small deep bowl and let it sit for 10 minutes. The trick is ‼ ️ Thus, the taste of the oil becomes more aromatic.
  4. Crush the onion and garlic in the robot until they get a puree shape. This time I used shallots. It doesn’t taste too bitter.
  5. Tips ‼ ️ Normally, I cut the onions into a few pieces, squeeze them in my hand and extract the juice. If we add all the onions in puree form, all the bitterness goes into the raw meatballs. For this reason, ice is also added to relieve the pain. But this time I used shallots. It wasn’t bitter at all.
  6. Now add the pureed shallots, onions and garlic to the bulgur which absorbs water.
  7. Then add other ingredients, parsley and spices and start kneading. I kneaded it in the kitchenaid machine for about 45 minutes until it thickened.
  8. Wear a glove and take a small piece and shape it in your hand. You can get a smoother raw meatball look like this. You can now serve your shaped raw meatballs. Good luck.
