Ingredients for Meatless Raw Meatballs Recipe

  • 2.5 cups of fine bulgur

  • 1 teaspoon of mint
  • 1 teaspoon of basil
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sumac< /li>
  • 1 teaspoon of curry
  • Half a tea glass of isot (I didn’t add it because it didn’t exist)
  • Half a tea glass of red pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of salt (You can adjust it according to your liking)
  • Half a tea glass of pomegranate syrup
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon
  • 2 tablespoons of pepper paste
  • 1 tablespoon of tomato paste

Making Meatless Raw Meatballs Recipe

  1. 2.5 cups of bulgur wheat in a bowl 1.5 Let it soak in a glass of water for 15 minutes. The bulgur should swell and absorb its water.
  2. Let’s grate the onion and squeeze out its juice. (If you don’t squeeze the juice out, it will taste bitter. )
  3. Crush the garlic.
  4. Plug bulgur, onion and garlic, oils, spices, tomato paste in a medium-sized tray or a special raw meatball tray without mixing them separately. Let’s add lemon and pomegranate syrup and knead well.
  5. Let’s knead for about 45 minutes or 1 hour. (The longer you knead, the better the bulgur will soften with the heat of our hands. You can adjust how much you need to knead according to its consistency).
  6. If the bulgur is sticking together, that is, if it is to be formed into meatballs, if it does not fall apart, let’s give it the shape of raw meatballs. You can also serve it with lavash. Enjoy your meal.
