- 4 cups of brown bulgur with meatballs
- 2 cup boiling water
- 1 large onion or 2 small onions
- 3 garlic cloves
- 2 tablespoons of tomato paste

- Place the bulgur in a deep bowl, add boiling water to it, mix it with a wooden spoon, cover it and leave it for 10 minutes. Squeeze and add to bulgur. Grate the garlic on the small side of the grater.
