Ingredients for Raw Meatballs Recipe

  • 2 cups of fine black bulgur (regular bulgur can be used)
  • 1.5 cups of hot water
  • 1 teaspoon of oil
  • 2 teaspoons of isot

  • 1 teaspoon of cumin

  1. In a deep bowl, add bulgur and hot water and 1 teaspoon of salt. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
  2. While the bulgur is resting, isot, oil, paprika, cumin, lemon, pomegranate syrup and black pepper are mixed in a bowl and blended thoroughly. It is squeezed.
  3. Pour onion, garlic, tomato grater, tomato paste, pepper paste and the spice mixture we prepared in the bowl into the rested bulgur and mix well. Put the meatballs in a tray, add finely chopped parsley and spring onions, and knead by wetting your hands until they get thick. Use lettuce leaves and fresh mint for serving.
