Raw Meatballs with Meat

Ingredients for Raw Meatballs Recipe

  • 250 grams lean double ground ground beef
  • 400 grams brown bulgur for meatballs
  • 2 tablespoons of pepper paste
  • Isot equal to the volume of ground beef
  • Half the isot up to (a little more if desired) red chili flakes
  • 1 medium tomato
  • 1 small onion
  • Half a tea glass of olive oil
  • 6 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons of heaped yogurt
  • Half a medium lemon
  • 1 teaspoon of salt

How to Make Meatballs Recipe

  1. Mince ground meat, isot, chili pepper, salt are mixed and kneaded.
  2. Onion is grated and garlic is pounded. This is added to the mixture and kneaded again.
  3. In a separate place, bulgur, tomato paste, grated tomato and olive oil are mixed.
  4. Then both mixtures are mixed together and kneaded. After kneading for 15 minutes, half a lemon is added to the mixture. It is squeezed, divided into 4 and kneaded into the mixture with its peels.
  5. After kneading for 5 minutes, lemon peels are removed.
  6. Yogurt is added to the mixture and kneaded for another 30 minutes.
  7. After resting for half an hour, it is squeezed and served with lettuce or lavash, pomegranate syrup or lemon upon request.
