Ingredients for Raw Meatballs with Walnuts
- 2.5 cups of brown bulgur
- 1 water glass of boiling water (for soaking the bulgur)
- 2 tomato graters
- 1 medium onion grater
- 2 large cloves of garlic
- 1 lemon
- 1 pinch of parsley finely chopped
- 1 tablespoons of pepper paste
- 2 tablespoons of tomato paste
- Half a tea glass of pomegranate syrup
- Half a glass of walnuts
- 2 teaspoonfuls of isot
- 2 teaspoons of paprika
- 1 teaspoon of cumin
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon mint
- Half a tea glass of boiling water (for isot)
- Half a tea glass of olive oil
Walnut Raw Meatballs Recipe Preparation
- First add the bulgur to the tray and wet it and cover it, let’s move on to the other ingredients while the bulgur is getting wet.
- First add the isot into a bowl and squeeze a lemon and half Soak it in a tea glass of water so that it will give it a nice color. Add the grated onion and garlic and add the tomato paste and knead for 5-10 minutes.
- Then pass it through the blender well, it will be like Turkish delight. Take it on the tray again, this time add the parsley spices and isot mixture and knead for another 15 minutes.
