
Ingredients for Raw Meatballs (Meatless) Recipe
- 2 cups of bulgur for meatballs
- 1 water glass of water
- 1 large onion grater
- 1 large tomato grater
- 1. 5 tablespoons of sweet pepper paste
- 1 tablespoon of hot pepper paste
- 1 coffee cup of pomegranate syrup
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 tablespoon of isot
- 1 teaspoon of sumac
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tea glass of olive oil
- Half a glass of sunflower oil
How to Make Raw Meatballs (Without Meat) Recipe?
- First, we wet the bulgur with 1 glass of hot water, cover it and wait until it cools.
- We grate the onion and drain the water. We grate the tomato. Tomatoes will be added last after all the ingredients are mixed.
- We add all the ingredients except sunflower oil and tomato grated on the warm bulgur and mix.
- Add the tomato grater at the last and knead for 2-3 minutes.

- Lastly, we add sunflower oil to the mixture and pass it through the blender. And we shape it by squeezing it with our hands.
- The hardness of the bulgur varies according to the brand. I have achieved the perfect consistency with these measurements. If your bulgur is hard, you can add 2-3 ice cubes while kneading and knead it.
- With these measurements, I can squeeze about 50 raw meatballs. When I first prepared it, I didn’t have the opportunity to take pictures. This is the photo of what I got from the mortar left from the evening to the morning.
