Ingredients for Urfa Raw Meatballs (Meatless) Recipe

  • 6 tea glasses of bulgur with meatballs
  • 1 grated onion
  •  2 cloves of garlic grater
  • 3 tablespoons of isot
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon pepper paste
  • 2 tomato graters
  • 1 tea glass (small ones) olive oil
  •  Half a tea glass of pomegranate syrup
  • 1 tea glass of crushed walnuts
  • 2 teaspoons of cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon of cumin
  • 1 teaspoon of sumac
  • 1 teaspoon of chili flakes
  • 1 teaspoon of kata pepper
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • 1 lemon
  • Half a bunch of parsley
  • 2 glass of water

Urfa Raw Meatballs (Meatless) Recipe Preparation

  1. First of all, let’s soak the isot in a bowl with half a tea glass of water and leave it for half an hour .
  2. We put bulgur, isot, tomato paste, onion, garlic, salt and spices in the kneading bowl and start yoghurt.
  3. When the bulgur starts to absorb the juice of these ingredients, we add grated tomato and continue to knead.

  5. When the bulgur and tomatoes get juiced, we sprinkle half a glass of water and continue to knead.
  6. Add half a glass of water and knead for about 40-45 minutes.
  7. Pomegranate syrup, lemon, walnuts and olive oil and knead a little more.
  8. Finally, we add the parsley and squeeze the mixed meatballs onto a suitable serving plate. Bon appetit and healing ☺️.
