Urfa Style Egg Dumplings

Ingredients for Urfa-Style Cigkofte with Eggs

  • 2 cups of brown bulgur with meatballs
  • 1 small size onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon pepper paste
  • 4-5 tablespoons of isot
  • Salt
  • Warm water
  • 1 egg
  • Half a tea glass of oil (for eggs)
  • 2-3 sprigs of green onions
  • A pinch of parsley

Urfa Style Egg Dumplings Recipe Preparation

  1. In a suitable tray Bulgur, tomato paste, salt, isot, grated onion and garlic are taken and blended well.
  2. Then it is kneaded by adding lukewarm water little by little.
  3. This Kneading is continued by adding warm water until the lgur is soft.
  4. Add oil to a pan and heat it well.
  5. Then add eggs and mix quickly.
  6. Egg prepared for bulgur mixture
  7. Finely chopped green onions and parsley are added and kneaded a little more. Served with any greens you wish. Bon appetit.
